New with Microsoft Retail Management System Version 1.2: Integrated PIN Debit Cards

With Microsoft Retail Management System version 1.2, Citibank Merchant Services now offers integrated processing for PIN-based debit cards for the NYCE, STAR, and Interlink debit networks. There is a per transaction fee of $0.20, a substantial savings on debit transactions. Merchants must have certified PIN pad hardware with their Microsoft Retail Management System solution to utilize this feature (online debit is PIN based versus offline debit which is signature based). Citibank Merchant Services debit card processing is highly secure with nationwide availability, so you'll be able to accept cards from almost any customer. Usage of PIN-based debit cards among consumers has grown considerably over the past few years, and there is very little fraud or risk to the retailer, so its a win-win for everyone.
